Pulled Pork from the
Oven
(BBQ Pork made easy)
|
Ingredients:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Trim the pork shoulder or butt of fat and skin. Dampen the pork and sprinkle
with Grill and Roast Dry Rub and rub the meat to ensure coverage. Place the pork in a Roaster oven and pour about 4 ounces of
Fiery Vinegar BBQ Sauce on the pork. Place in the oven on the lower rack and bake at 350 degrees for 3-1/2 to 4 hours depending on weight of
meat.
When cooked, remove the pork and allow cooling until you can pick it up by hand. The meat should be cooked to allow you to separate the pieces by hand and remove any fat and discard the drippings and fat. You can pull the pork by hand and chop with a knife as needed. When this is completed, sprinkle 4-8 ounces of
Fiery Vinegar BBQ Sauce, depending on weight, onto the meat and mix by hand or large spoon. Serve warm to
hot.
In the South, slaw, cornbread and baked beans go with pulled pork.
Clearly, there are numerous side dishes that go equally as well
with this easy to serve barbeque dinner.
